LOVE THIS BABY!!!

Have I told you how much we love this little girl?? She is so full of energy. She still only sleeps a total of one hour during the day... Gotta work on that! But she does sleep throught the night mostly. She had her first Dr. Visit last week. It went well.He said she is on track developementally- maybe even ahead doing things an 11 month old does... Gymnist in our future??? She likes to climb everything!! She had 2shots, and went back for the flu shot on Friday. She cried very hard after each of the shots, and was very cranky afterward. We have to now take her for all of that fun blood work to make sure that all is well. I really dread that.
Paige is a very fussy eater, but has added pancakes and french toast to things she will eat. She still loves people, and really likes big brother Kyle, and her Uncle Doug. We went to the mall for the first time last week and she was great!! Maybe she will be like her mommy and love to shop.

New things she did last week: She claps her hands for yea and does so big!!

Love at last

The first night we arrived home, Paige was petrified of our dog. She shook, and screeched everytime the dog would come near her. This continued until the past few days. At first Paige would only be ok with her in the same room- far away, then if Paige approached her. Now Paige and Magic are the best of friends.

Magical Moments

There were many times throughout our wait for Paige that we thought we would never see this. These little girls are a big part of our lives as are their mommies and families. It was so sweet to see the three of them together. The only thing was that Miss Meaghan was quite mad at me for having Paige. She didnt want any part of me, wouldn't look at me or talk to me or Paige. But I did get a kiss by the end of the day. Miss Mia ( on the right) on the other hand now really digs me and even gave me her Mia kiss and hug. Aren't they cute?

I am loving this

As each day passes with our new daughter, we reaize how lucky we are to have her. She is perfect, and perfect for us! What a joy she is in every way. It is amazing how she likes people; to be around people, especially kids. It always makes me smile when I see a boy in sweaty football gear taking time to google at Paige.
We keep her very busy. Each day is flled with trips and many visitors. Today we went to my parents house and she was her usual smiley self. We went in the pool, which she loves. My father who doesn't like to hold babies even held her. She really likes him and is enchanted by his whistling.
So here are some more Paige pictures.
I also included a photo on here of a tinkerbell bow Paige was wearing today made by one of my good friends JOANNE. Oh yes, and pictures of daddy and Paige. Today daddy needed a Paige lunch fix, so he came home for lunch just to see his girl... life is good.

** I got a new camera yesterday so the time, date stamp appears to be wrong.

27 years

This truly was an amazing aniversary. Yes, married 27 years....a long time...but yet it feels like it was just yesterday. Some people say we are crazy for starting over-with an 18 year old and a 9 year old and now a 9 month old. We just smile and laugh about it. Yes it is a big change, but we do find time for each other and we have taken great joy over our children in the past 18 years. Paige completes our family and as we know time passes quickly and they grow up. SO to my wonderful,patient husband on our aniversary- I love you!!!

Now for our day... aniversary- HA- we awoke at 6:15 am to get ready for hours of football in the sweltering heat. We got to the field at 8:30 am and left at 1:15 p.m. Yes FIVE HOURS of football. It was so hot today too. Yet Paige did wonderfully. She didn't know she would be sitting on football, baseball and lacrosse fields for most of her small life. Coleton is playing center this year and he loves it. He is doing very well, and their team played really good despite the heat and humidity with all that equipment on.

Happy 9 months to my daughter

Paige is 9 months old today. I still can not believe she is here. We had 2 visitors today. One a neighbor, the other my dear friend Donna. Paige enjoyed hanging out and getting lots of attention from Donna.

Paige in Motion

Today we stayed home all day. Paige sleeps maybe 15 minutes 2 times during the day. She is usually in constant motion. Today she had some time with Coleton and his friends. She was right in there with them. How sweet that 9 year old boys have such a good way with her, very gentle, very caring. Love this!!!

Paige also has been warming up to our dog little by little. Today she decided to touch Magics paw. How cute was this. She would touch it and quickly run away. The dog just looks at her and doesn't even move.

I keep pinchng myself

It is so hard to beieve that just 2 short weeks ago we were on the eve of meeting our daughter. She is such a delightful little girl. I love her so very much!! I am having fun with her, and of course I love to dress her and do her hair. These are the things we have grown to love about Paige.
* She hates baby food for the most part.
* She loves fresh bannanas
* The only time she really cries is when she is tired and ready to crash.
* I break a sweat everytime I change her diaper and clothes- it's like a wrestling match.
* She smiles a lot.
* She is very ticklish.
* She loves her brothers and her face lights up when one of them looks at her.
* She moves quickly. She is standing up cruising everything even my legs, the kitchen cabinets and the walls.
* She doesn't mind when I put those little rubber bands in her hair.
* She says mammma, baba, and sometimes dada.
* She is sleeping through the night.
* She likes the pool.
* She loves the stacking cups the most, her ladybug toy, and the musical car Michelle gave her.
* Paige will not wear a hat for more than 2 seconds.
