The sun was shining..but there was still a shower

Wow what a weekend!!! Friday evening I had plans to walk with my friend Michelle as we usually do several times per week. I had taken Coleton to Lacrosse practice, and came home to change into my walking apparel- which I will preface with- IS NOT PRETTY. Picture this.... I was walking to my friend's house to meet her...so picture this....me- walking with my hair up- in my ugly workout/walking clothes- no makeup reapplication since probably 6:30 am- walking it like I really mean it..
and then there in my friend's driveway.. 30 beautifully dressed women screaming SURPRISE.

I have never been surprised like this my entire life... it was weird but in a glorious way. My family and my friends were all there to celebrate Paige Min Shan, and it was an unforgettable and totally awesome moment.

THIS WAS OUR BABY SHOWER FOR PAIGE. I had shower for Kyle.... 19 years ago....and now here I was...at my age...being honored for our baby that we hope to bring home SOOOOOOOON. I will never forget this, and was deeply touched by it all.

So many people helped to make this the best baby shower I have ever been to( yes, because it was for me) ..the food was glorious (Chinese from our favorite restaurant), perfect decorations (pink, green and tinkerbell all inclusive), the company of friends and family.

Opening the presents was so much fun!! I can't even tell you all the beautiful gifts that were bestowed on us for Fairy Princess Paige... in fact it was like having a lot of fairy godmothers... ooohhh the gifts were so beautiful. I will post some of them during this week..
Thank you all again... especially Jo and Michelle for organizing it all. Paige doesn't know how much she is loved here...
