Today we received updates of our beautiful Paige Min Shan. They were taken on 6/30/08. Again, I have such mixed emotions about it. First they are finally giving her our toys and she is wearing one of the outfits we sent. She does look happy. However I noticed that she has her 2 bottom teeth. I am so, so sad about this. I should have been the one to feel the first bumps of new teeth, and to discover that she had them. I know they are only teeth, but still I feel like we are missing so much. She is a peanut, weighing in at only 13.4 lbs and 25 inches. We love her sooooo much already.

I know you feel sad about missing things in this first part of her life. But try and tell yourself that you will have so many first with her. Everything you do with her when you get home is going to be a first....and that is so fun I assure you. I really still try not to think about what I missed and focus on what we are doing today(3 steps by herself)
She is a wee one, and man oh man does she have good hair!!! You know the bigger the hair bow the better the mommy~LOL

I remember all too well the bittersweet moments of the updates. We too got a surprise when we arrived at TWCA and saw on Tyler's schedule sheet that he had two tiny teeth on the bottom. Amidst all that joy(and nerves) I too felt a pang of regret....BUT I can echo others and say it all fades when they place that baby in your arms. Actually, just the moment you lay eyes on them in person for the first time....I would not have cared if Tyler had braces in that moment...LOL...and please know I'm not trivializing this pain, as it was my pain too. And sometimes I wonder about the little missed things too....but then something happens that reminds you of how precious each stage and moment is & you rejoice!
There are so many joyful firsts yet to come AND she is so petite and as beautiful as ever my friend. AND what a sweet disposition she has! OH, get those bags packed Mama, cuz she's coming home!!! HUGS!!! Lisa

Oh my, what a darling girl you have there!! In the video her foster-father looks like he is crazy for her, sweet...I know you are SO ready to go get her ~ soon!!!!
She is so cute!!! I remember feeling the same way when I noticed Annabella had 2 teeth in one of her updates. :-) Just remember once she's in your arms...it's forever...and you'll have so many special moments to share with her!!! I'm excited for you because I know your time is so very near! Thinking of you.
