We are in love

WOW is all I can say. Paige is everthing and more. Ok Here is how everything unfolded. We got all our gifts together. I got the diaper bag together and then we were on our way. It rained some on the way there. It was about a 2 hour drive to Taichung from our hotel. My observations were this: Not impressed with the architectural aspects of this county. Most buildings look run down, and made of what ever material it looked like they had laying around. Most houses, buildings had rusty looking roofs and rust running down the sides. The greenery became more lush as we headed south to Taichung.

We got to the agency and it was very small inside. I saw Carridee and the man in our video. We got Paige's schedule and then we went over towards the foster family house. We took off our shoes and entered. Mrs. Lu was our foster mom. It was definately love at first site. Paige was happy and obviously Mrs.Lu and Paige loved each other very much. We stayed and asked questions for about 40 minutes.

We then went back to the agency. They seemed a little unorganized. We had to wait for her paperwork, and it started to really pour really hard so I left Paige with John while Fion our guide and I went to the baby store. I bought diapers, formula, rice cereal, stroller, nuk, stackers and rice crackers. I also bought a few jars of apples sauce because she was eating it at the foster moms. We went back to the agency, got the rest of the paperwork and then left to come back to Taipei. It took 4 hours... weather and traffic. Paige slept most of the way and let me tell you this child has a great disposition. She was way past her bottle time and didnt even cry.

Ok... so now for Paige.. It seems that the schedule our foster mom set out for us was exactly what Paige did last night. She went in about 10:30 and didnt wake up until 4:30 - we gave her a bottle and then she went back in for a nap... we woke her up though becase my family back home skyped us and wanted to see her. Paige laughs, coos, blows rasberries, loves Coleton, loves us, and crawls like crazy. She's a very fast crawler. She hasn't really cried for us just fussed and then we would sooth her. We are very lucky. Hopefully she will remain happy.

Today we are not going anywhere due to the storm. So we will spend the day around the hotel.
