Kyle took us to the airport yesterday.We are here in Taipei. Our flights were great! It didnt feel like a 15 hour flight. We flew Cathay and it was very comfortable. The only thing is that I am very tired since I only slept like an hour on the whole flight. I have now been up over 24 hours. They fed us on both flights and you had your choice of Chinese or Amerian food. Our hotel is VERY nice. We are staying in the Grand Hyatt. We have a suite stlye room, and have access to the concierge level..so we will get free soda, water and snacks. Our guide Fion met us at the airport, and she seems very nice. We will meet her at 10 am tomorrow for a day of sightseeing before we get Paige. Only one more day until we get our girl.... Here are some pictures from our first day of 24 hours of traveling. They are backwards.

dude I was not lying about Cathay and the pods was I??? Makes that 15 hours just blow right by. Glad you enjoyed the flight and got there safely. I kept looking at the clock and thinking OMG they are still not there. Hopefully the staying up the whole time will help you sleep really well this first night.
I wonder if you all ate at the same place we did in the HKG airport?? was it upstairs??
You are so close to your girl now, and can't wait to hear how your first day goes.

Loving it already! Hope you have a great day in Taiwan sightseeing before the big day tomorrow! You definitely need to give me more info about Cathay and those pods! We are planning on taking our 3 year old with us and need all the comforts we can get!

PODS? I'm jealous. We had to fly in the back of a very crowded plane!! Two of us on one row, and one on the other! Felt lucky to find flights together at all (last minute, close to Christmas). Must have been really nice!!!! I hope you are returning the same way. Can't wait to hear and see more!
