Today I officially signed my FMLA paperwork for work. We don't officially start school here until the 8th so that puts me at returning to work on November 30. It is a necessary evil. I already don't want to leave her but, I know I must. After that we went to have blood work done on little miss Paige. She rocked. She cried briefly, more from me having to constrain her. They test for everything under the sun to make sure all systems are go. I put a picture of her with the hot pink bandage that she got after the blood tests.
Paige is eating everything as long as it ain't baby food. Her newest loves are: lasagna, couscous, and potatoes. GO figure.
Other Paige news- she climbed up the back of my kitchen chair today. Ok you can stop laughing. All of you who are making me eat my words of "we never babyproofed for the boys"..ahhhh yea... this child is going to be dancing on our countertops soon. She is getting stronger with standing on her own. She likes stand up with her arms wrapped around my legs. It makes it very hard to do anything all day.

Oh, that poor sweet girl getting all the yucky blood work.....its important to do, but so hard to watch them being upset; I'm glad its behind you both!
AND climing up chairs already?...ack! Tyler hit the stairs VERY early and always hugs my legs(yes, it IS hard to accomplish much with a third leg! LOL) but wow, she is on the go & sounds very strong & agile! I think I do see a gymnastics class in your future! :)
I'm so happy you will be able to have as much time as possible at home with her and what special months these will be!
She's just SO VERY adorable and looks very very happy! I love how you do her hair ~ it always looks so sweet & perfect!
*hugs*
Wow! It is nice they give you such a short amount of time to fill out your FMLA. Our school requires 30 days notice. I just picked up the paper yesterday.
Poor Paige getting her blood drawn yuck! No fun :( She sure looks cute though!
you and me both need to get on the childproofing thing....my monkeydoo is all over the place and the higher the better!! Wait til she starts walking....then we will be laughing at you:)
We have to do more bloodwork on Wed...already dreading it!!
Yay for FMLA
That is great! I am also taking FMLA... I am taking 11 weeks and returning just after the Thanksgiving break... December 1. We started school August 26 and my last day is September 14... the day we travel! I am sad that I have a limited time off with Po but I know he will be in good hands as he will be home with my husband and dad when I return.
