Last year at this time we were waiting anxiously for word of final ruling. I still can not believe that this year Paige fills up our every day. We took her last week to the doctor for her next round of shots. She was a few months behind of schedule because of all her ear infections over the winter. Believe it or not Paige gained a pound. She is now 18.8 lbs and 31 inches tall. She is still not on the American charts but she is growing steadily. It is amazing that she is now turning into a little girl.
Today will be day 3 of no more bottles. I decided on Monday that we needed to get rid of them. Both My boys stopped bottles at age one and since Paige drinks out of all types of cups and with straws I knew she was ready. It really hasn't been that hard. We threw the bottles in the garbage together and said bye bye babas. (of course I dug them out just in case while she wasnt looking). She will still ask for BABA but I remind her we threw them out and then ask her if she wants a drink and Paige will usually say YES.
So this month my girl is repeating all types of words including Sh-t, and cr-p. (So proud of her). She says "watsup" with a nod of her head and rap sings and dances like a good gansta (Thank you big brother Coleton). Paige hides behind her hands when I tell her no or reprimand her- we remind her that we can still see her of course. When she grabs something she shouldn't have ( like my iphone) and I catch her as I head towards her to get it, she quickly runs in the opposite direction and throws whatever it is I want back- great when we are on cement. Paige loves to swim, and it is so much fun to watch her in the pool enjoying herself. She climbs up the playset in 2 seconds flat- giving this mommy a heart attack- to go flying down the slide- literally catapulting 3 feet from the bottom because she is so little. It is almost impossible to go food shopping or shopping anywhere these days because the princess does not like to sit in her carriage or shopping cart.
But the best part is that Paige loves us all so much. She gives big hugs and big kisses and when I hear MOMMMMY in the morning from her crib I can not help but feel like the luckiest person in the world.

That is quite a vocabulary she has there....can't wait for her to teach Hayden those when you are here!!! You can blame the SH@T on the Black Eyed Peas cd we bought her that says it about 47 times in one song(yay we are getting the parenting of the year award)
She and Hayden are almost the exact same size. Hayden is 21.5 and 32.5 inches. We are both going to be the proud mommies of petite sweet girls:)
Glad that she loves the pool and swingset. I say forget the dance and sign that kid up for gymnastics!!
Happy 20 months!!
Happy 20 months to Paige! Lexie is 16 months and still drinks her bottle. I think it's harder for me to give it up because it's my bonding time with her. I love that you dug those bottles out of the trash, just in case!
