Misery Loves company

It is amazing that even though Paige is our third child it feels like she is our first. Or should I say- good thing she wasn't our first child. This little one is so active she doesn't stop from morning to night- ok fine I can do that but the climbing oh boy. She will climb the stair case in 2 seconds flat, be on my kitchen table or center island in 1 second flat or climbing up the playset in a blink of the eye. She loves to reach her hands up to the counter and grab anything she can find. Paige is definately a tornado in any room. However, it is quite comforting to know that my fellow blogger mommies are experiencing the same thing. Is it because they are girls???? or what???? My boys never climbed like this. So yes misery loves company. I am so glad that many others are going through this too. I have semi-solved the table thing... I have to lean my chairs in and then she doesn't attempt to climb the tables, and for the stairs - I use a bungy cord so that she can't slide the gate over.. Yes- though- when she gets caught on one of her climbing escapades, she will look at you and smile and say "HI HI" so of course how can you be mad at such a cutie???

This is how I have to arrange my chairs each day so Paige doesn't climb

I totally can sympathize with you! I don't know if it's because they are tiny, that climbing to the top of something makes them feel a little bigger. These little girls are super fast, but I get a lot of exercise from chasing mine all day long!

LOL

I just don't know ~ mine were/have both been moderate climbers but nothing quite like her level of expertise! :) Maybe a future gymnast??

Either way she sure looks cute doing it!!

Lisa-
Thanks for posting the picture. I think I may be sporting this new home fashion too. I have to tell ya, I feel better too knowing I am not the only one pulling a climber of the table...over and over and over. She is too cute up there:)

Look at it this way...Paige is always striving to be on top...that is a great quality in a toddler. LOL! Looking forward to seeing you Sunday. Give Paige a big smooch.

I HEAR YOU!!! Climbing on the table is how Layne broke her hand (thumb). She is a climber like I've never seen before. As for it being a girl thing, Michela never did anything like this one! It must be a Taiwan thing. Anyway, you are right, misery loves company...and they give you that melt your heart cute grin when caught..ugghhhh. I'm back from vacation and emailing you this week!
