Summer Vacation

Last week we did a few seperate trips. We went to Mystic Seaport and stayed overnight. We have been there several times, but Coleton didn't remember much from those past trips and of course Paige hadn't been there. It was "fun"- Paige loved the sealions and the whales. It was "interesting" traveling with a toddler. Let's just say John was driving around Conneticut at 2:00 in the morning trying to put Miss Paige to sleep.

Our second adventure was to Coopertown. You all know how much Coleton loves baseball and we have been promising.. so off we went to Cooperstown- 5 hours drive- in the middle of no where. It actually was a really nice town- not so stroller friendly but nice all the same. When we first got there we stopped at a Farmers Museum with live baby animals and a carousel and people dressed like they lived in the colonial times. We figured it would be good for Paige to run around before embarking into the Hall of Baseball. It was really nice and she did so enjoy the animals. The Hall of Fame was a bit challenging for her but we did it in two seperate visits. We stayed for a little over an hour the first time and then went back in the evening to finish for about 2 hours. Coleton loved it! This time she did sleep in the hotel without a problem.
On the way home we stopped at Howes Cavern. We had to carry her the whole time, and about half way through John had to take her out because she was screaming her head off. Oh the memories..... But Coleton and I finished it and it was very interesting.

Here are a few pictures fromt our adventures.

Miss H never does well the first night we are anywhere. The good news is when you are here we are already use to it!!!

Looks like so much fun and gotta love that she had her baseball bow in for her visit to the hall of fame. So fun for Coleton I am sure!!!

I think just like 18 or 19 days until we see you!!! Yay
