Paige will be going back to her old daycare but in a different room with different teachers. I called the director yesterday to get all my dates scheduled and to finalize when Paige would be returning. This year she will start in the toddler room of 18-24 month children (5 of them) and then moving into a different toddler room around January that accomodates up to 36 months. She won't be napping when she feels like but rather on a schedule- ha good luck with that one- and on a cot, not in a crib- again, good luck with that one. She will be eating their provided lunch and snacks all at specific times. I always worried that the schedule thing will be the end to my kids whenever they went back to daycare (she grazes with snacks alllllll day). Ultimately she will adjust and be totally fine. I hope they are ready for her activity level because if anything, she has gotten more active.
Coleton got his teacher today, and the poor kid doesn't seem to have any of his good friends in class. I know he too will be fine, but I hate to see his dissapointment after so much excitement for getting his teacher assignment.
As for me- I will be going to my hole in the wall of a class next week to tidy it up and to meet with my principal about the changes that will be taking place in my math remediation world. I probably should blog more about what I do at work- some of the stories you just can't make up.
So good bye summer- Ok well not yet exactly........

I can relate to being a working mom again. Just when you're into the summer groove, it's time to go back to school. Enjoy your last few weeks and hope you can do some fun things with your cutie pie.
No back to school before a visit to TX!!! We are so excited about you coming I can hardly wait:).
Can't imagine how hard it must be.... I totally know why, but it must take a lot of mustering.
I can't imagine Miss H taking a nap on a cot right now, she would be in trouble all the time. Maybe I should get one to practice with:). Sounds like she and Hayden can just run around eating snacks all day and night while you are here!!
I know that has to be hard even thinking about returning for the school year but it sounds like Paige will be in GREAT hands with lots of sweet friends around her each day!!
I'm sorry Coleton was not placed with his best buddies....that's just hard!! We had an interesting start to our school year too with HUGE classes but its all been resolved now thankfully. & Lauren too is not in the same room with her two "besties" but already I can see, that while hard at first, it is helping her to broaden her social circle!!
Sending happy thoughts for all the rest of your days home AND a safe trip down yonder...I can't wait to see those pics!!
