I know I have to older boys and you think I would be used to this stuff. Well, no it doesn't get easier and in fact I think we both felt more panicked this time. I'm talking about when your child needs stiches and bleeds a lot. Paige yesterday fell into the corner of our wall and wound up spitting her forehead open. Uggg. John picked her up from daycare as I was going to run to the grocery store... well I didn't make it to the store. We rushed her to the hospital and they called in a plastic surgeon. We had to leave the room and she was screaming her head off but then he said that she fell asleep and he was able to do a really good job on her repair. As far as scarring- it really depends on her skin and the way she heals. She can't get the bandage wet, which means that I don't know how I am gonna wash her hair for over a week..
I am sure this is one of many visits to the er with Paige. She was right back with running around and climbing and jumping all over the place when we got home last night. This girl has some spirit...

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This must have happened just when we got off the phone??! Call me later!! Poor baby...poor mommy!
Oh no!!!
I'm so sorry to hear this and I'm thinking about ya all!!! This is the kind of thing that makes all of us Mamas feel a bit sick in our tummies.
Poor sweet brave girl....and you too Mama!!
Glad she's on the mend and Lisa, ask your doc about putting a dab of vitamin E oil on the scar once those stitches come out....it may help speed the healing and reduce any scarring!! Just not sure she's old enough for it though....??
Poor baby, and poor Mom. I feel your pain. She looks like she is already over it, so hope you are feeling better soon :0)
Oh...so sorry poor Paige had to go to the ER. Glad everyone is ok though!!!
So sorry to hear about Paige's trip to the ER. That is my constant fear because these little balls of energy cannot be contained. Glad she's doing better!
