Oh Wow. 2010. I can hardly believe that a decade has passed since the whole Y2K thing... Time sure does fly by. 2009 started with a lot of waiting and craziness, but it turned out to be a great year after all. It was the year we brought our daughter home. When you sit and look back at the year just passed you realize how different it was from the year before... I realize that you have to live in the moment and always wish things away.. This past year, my family was healthy( just some stress producing minor things toward the end there) and I still have both my parents- knocking on wood. My boys are both doing well in school, and they are both great kids. We didn't lose our jobs... still have those- (still knocking on wood). John and I both got more healthy last year and lost weight and changed some lifestyle habits... we will continues this for the new year. Of course there were things that I couldn't control- bad things that occurred in 2009 - like my friend getting cancer.. and of course I hope that in the new year that health and happiness return.
Last evening we got to spend some time with great friends that we have made over the years. We went to 2 parties, and would have loved for the night to last longer so that we could have spent more time at each. As usual my picture taking lacked and I managed to get a few shots of the evening. I never seem to get shots of everyone I want to.
Happy New Year to all of you. I hope that you will leave me comments in the new year on this blog. I love to read them. Thank you for allowing me to share a bit of our lives with you.
