Enough already.

No way... I am not abandoning my blog. I love to blog. Life gets in the way.

SO a month and a half recap.

We had a great August of Travel and Baseball. I didn't blog about our Taiwan reunion, but let me just say it was amazing. I might still throw a post up about this.

I went back to work. I was put back into the classroom after being out for 10 years as a math consultant. Although it wasn't my choice, I always give my students 100% so I have been busy with everything involved in setting up a new classroom. Maybe another post will be made about people that are dishonest and power hungry, and like to disrupt lives just because they can.

Paige is back at daycare and is in the 3 year old preschool room. She had a really dificult time adjusting. She went a whole week of crying everyday most of the day, to now she gives the death grip in the morning, as we peel her body from one of us., At least she is not crying all day anymore and seem to like her teachers. We just have to work on the serperation issues.

Coleton is in 6th grade in the middle school and is loving life right now.. His current sport is football. We spend over 6 hours a week on the field and Sundays at gmes..He is also involved in a lacrosse tournament coming up, and is trying out next week for travel basketball. He is still taking his upright bass lessons once a week on top of all this...

So... hopefully I will be back in and blogging so check back soon.

I am certain you are an awesome teacher and wish my kiddo was lucky enough to have you for one!!

So sorry the transition to school has been tough...this year has been the opposite for H....even though she loved it last year each morning as we would drive she would say she didn't want to go. She hasn't said it once this year!!! Thank you jesus! What is the cutoff for kinder for you guys?? They won't start H in the 4 yr until next year because we miss the cutoff by a week....so they are just keeping her with the kids she will start kinder with I guess.

Wishing you guys a great weekend!!!

I'm sure you are doing an amazing job and those children are lucky to have you as their teacher! I'm so glad we got the chance to meet this summer and spend some time together.

The separation anxiety does get better. I had a boy in my class cry each morning for the first month of school and he had that death grip also. His mom said he cried all through preschool. We tried everything with him, then one day he just decided he wasn't going to cry and he's been fine ever since. Hang in there with Paige!

I've been thinking about you, remembering our chat in the hall about your returning to the classroom. I'm sorry it has been so busy and then you throw in all the rest of life and its a wonder you have time to blog at all!

And I'm sad to think of Miss Paige having a hard time in Preschool but I know this too will pass! I have a few that had a rough transition also and its hard to see as a teacher, never mind as the parent! So very tough!!

Glad all is well for Mr. C ~ he's such a great kid....as are all 3 of them!

Missing you tons, ya know! Feels like we should all be living just a bit closer.....a whole lot closer would suit me just fine!!

Hugs and hang in there!!!!!
