Asbestos?
Today we found out that there are rooms in our building that have asbestos tiles in the ceiling. They say as long as the tiles are not disturbed we are not at any risk. What about the past 10 years? Hmmm. My friend who survived her very agressive breast cancer has many concerns. Not sure what I think at this point.

Yep, that's what they told us about our building too. As long as they weren't sanded (floor tiles) they could stay. Now when the pipes had to be fixed, that were covered in asbestos they had to do the whole haz-mat plastic sheets everywhere, respirated workmen thing. That was during summer break. We had several cases of breast cancer and lots of respiratory problems on the faculty. Finally some anonymous person called a federal agency, and it was found that the school was within guidelines. Hmmmm
